Backend Developer

Responsibilities 

The role is focused on building integrations using techniques such as ETL pipelines, web services, API Management, data hubs, and common data models. In addition, you will work on Seaber's main database schema.

Requirements

At Seaber we work primarily with Typescript, Nextjs, NodeJS, PostgreSQL, GraphQL, Docker and Amazon Web Services. 

You’ll need to be:

  • Familiar with Postgresql, PL/pgSQL, Nodejs, and Typescript.
  • Creative & analytical approach, problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Able to design unit tests and collaborate with the QA on developing feature acceptance tests.
  • Understanding of Web Services, Internet architecture, SQL, and software development.
  • Self-motivated and self-managed with a high degree of dependability.

Considered a plus:

  • Some knowledge in Knowing React, extJS,  Graphql 
  • Experience with TDD 
  • Experience with C++ 
  • Readiness to do technical writing for technical documentation

This role is preferably based in Finland so you need to have an EU passport or already have a valid work permit that would allow you to work in Finland.
