Seaber appoints Jean-Guy Faubert Chief Revenue Officer

Jean-Guy will leverage his deep SaaS startup experience, coupled with years of working in the maritime industry to help develop Seaber’s business objectives by scaling sales, promoting efficiencies and increasing profitability as the company continues to grow.

HELSINKI, Finland 9 January 2024 - Seaber.io, a maritime data-led fleet scheduling and optimization solution company headquartered in Finland, today announced Jean-Guy Faubert will assume the role of Chief Revenue Officer. In his new role as CRO, Jean-Guy Faubert will work closely with Seaber’s sales, success and the executive team to execute Seaber's strategic vision and ensure the continued success of the company.

Prior to joining Seaber, Jean-Guy played C-level roles as CEO, COO, and CRO in several successful startups. Most notably, he served as CEO and board director at Tagga Mobile Inc., where he played an instrumental role in pivoting the company by restructuring its value proposition and GTM, scaling growth across North America and rebuilding its software into a leading Customer Data Platform that eventually led to a successful acquisition by Campaign Monitor.

Jean-Guy played an early role on the founding team and served as Chief Revenue Officer for Sedna - a data-driven communication platform designed to transform the shipping and supply chain industries - where he led the company through explosive global growth.

“Seaber is solving the complex schedule planning and pre-fixture optimization puzzle that will help the maritime industry digitize, reduce carbon emissions, and drive bigger profits. I am excited to be back in the maritime industry, which is modernizing at an incredible pace, and full of exciting changes. I am thrilled to join this dynamic company”, Faubert said. This is a pivotal moment to accelerate momentum at Seaber, and lead its global sales and success team as we build the best-in-class scheduling and optimization software in the maritime sector.

“Jean-Guy’s extensive SaaS and maritime experience leading revenue teams in high-growth companies selling complex global solutions is perfectly suited for Seaber,” said Sebastian Sjöberg, Seaber CEO. "We are thrilled to welcome Jean-Guy to the Seaber family. With his impressive track record of driving growth through innovation, operations and company culture he will undoubtedly contribute to the continued growth and success of Seaber.”

We warmly welcome Jean-Guy to our team!
