Amanda, known to friends and family as Mandy, joined Seaber as a Customer Success Manager in October 2024. Based in Sweden, she plays a key role in ensuring the smooth delivery and implementation of Seaber’s solutions for customers.
Amanda brings a strong mix of practical logistics experience and academic focus to her role. Before joining Seaber, she worked at Preem for 3.5 years – first as a Production Planner and later as a Charterer – where she gained hands-on knowledge of maritime logistics and scheduling. Currently, she is also pursuing a Master’s degree in Sustainable Technology at KTH Royal Institute of Technology. She’s passionate about finding the balance between operational efficiency and environmental responsibility because she truly believes that the future of shipping needs to be both smarter and greener.
Her responsibilities at Seaber include helping charterers and shipowners adopt Seaber’s platform seamlessly, guiding them through onboarding and supporting them in making the most of the platform. She also brings direct industry insights into product development, making sure that Seaber’s technology solves real operational pain points.
What makes Amanda stand out is her ability to connect with clients and understand their operational needs from both a technical and a human perspective. Her insight into shipping logistics, combined with a deepening expertise in sustainability, makes her a valuable resource for Seaber customers who are going through digital transformation in maritime operations. At Seaber, she’s not just helping companies implement a solution, but also transform how they work.
Amanda leads an active life filled with travel and sports. Surfing is a favorite hobby, and she often plans trips around surf-friendly destinations. At home in Sweden, she enjoys Thai boxing, running, going to the gym, and spending time on the golf course during the warmer months.
What most of us did not know about is that Amanda used to appear on the radio as a child, speaking about Finnish mother-tongue education in Sweden. Her parents being Finnish and the family living in Sweden, she took Finnish lessons every week after school until the age of 16 – quite a dedication to cultural connection!
Feel free to reach out to Amanda at amanda@seaber.io. She's always happy to help and loves connecting with people across the maritime industry.
