Marcel Mushik

QA Engineer

Marcel started at Seaber in December 2021 as Quality Assurance Engineer and is responsible for testing of the Seaber software product. He reproduces customer found bugs or issues and facilitates fixes for them. His responsibility is to be proactive with exploratory testing to try to catch bugs or issues before they make it to our customers.

His experience spans embedded electronics engineering, quality assurance (QA) and IT security. He studied embedded electronics in Metropolia University of Applied Sciences in Helsinki and then went on into the world of QA for a few years, testing computer security related software. He then spent several years in the IT security field working as a vulnerability analyst. He specifically enjoyed the time in quality assurance and wanted to get back to it. Hence he happily joined the Seaber team a few months ago.

Aside from work and family time, Marcel’s hobbies include independent sports, such as board sports, mixed martial arts, and mountainbike riding.

Marcel’s spent five years of his life in the United States Marine Corps working diplomatic security in a dozen different countries, which is what eventually brought him to Finland. He describes that time as the best, and worst, five years of his life - it definitely did not lack in adventure!
